In an unexpected turn of events, Express Entry Draw 253 has issued 700 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 511. Unlike previous draws, this draw did not specify a particular program, meaning invitations were extended to candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
Today's draw deviates from the norm in terms of the lower number of ITAs compared to previous all-program draws this year. Moreover, the CRS score of 511 marks the highest of the year and represents a significant increase from the previous week's draw. In fact, the CRS score rose by 25 points in comparison to the last all-program draw, Draw 251.
It's important to note that last week witnessed the inaugural category-based draw specifically targeting healthcare occupations. A total of 500 ITAs were issued in that draw, highlighting the significance of addressing labor shortages in the healthcare sector. Additionally, the IRCC has already announced plans to conduct another draw for healthcare workers tomorrow, inviting an additional 1,500 applicants.
The recent Express Entry draws reflect the Canadian government's ongoing commitment to selecting candidates from various programs and addressing critical labor gaps in key sectors. These draws offer excellent opportunities for skilled immigrants to pursue permanent residence in Canada and contribute to its thriving economy and diverse society.
